(Amsterdam, NL) - After a highly successful first edition at the 013 venue in Tilburg on 27 September, it's time for the second instalment in 365Mag's music production workshop featuring Dave Clarke. 18 October sees the Doornroosje podium in Nijmegen being transformed into the essential place to be for all digital DJs and aspiring producers. Next to Dave Clarke going in depth on the famed Serato Final Scratch software (including a Q & A), gear freaks can also expect in-detail workshops on Ableton Live 7 and mastering.

On 18 October, 365Mag, Extrema Music and Dave Clarke return to the place that was one the setting for Dave Clarke's debut in the Netherlands (and is still regarded as one of his favorite top 3 clubs in the world): the intimate, highly esteemed Doornroosje venue in Nijmegen. Dave will again reveal his way of working with Serato Final Scratch, as well as answering all your questions about this nifty tool. A very special DJ/VJ showcase comes in the form of Auke Ferwerda (Duotone), Wouter Smit and Cenk Unis, who will be showcasing how to mix video with audio using Ableton Live 7. This workshop comes with a presentation on the all new Pioneer SVM 1000 mixer. Those in need of mastering solutions can turn their head to SAE's lecturer Seth Matteucci for an extensive Logic Pro 8 mastering course.

The night programme sees Dave Clarke doing what he does best: providing the hottest in underground techno and electro! Dave will be joined by the likes of the evil Dr. Terence Fixmer (LIVE) and Doornroosje programmer / Wolfskuil Recordings honcho Darko Esser. The small room will see N.E.W. presenting the finest talents in Nijmegen electronics, with gigs by M-Bition (LIVE), Tubish (LIVE), James Watts & Impulse Generator (LIVE), and Alex Brandmeyer.

Workshop programme:

1. Serato Scratch Live Masterclass & Producer Q&A with Dave Clarke. Dave will reveal some of his tips & tricks on how to use Serato Scratch Live to its fullest. Secondly, Dave will go in-depth on his vision of producing music on an interactive Q&A.
2. Ableton LIVE 7 & Video Mixing. Auke Ferwerda (Duotone) Wouter Smit & Cenk Unis will showcase how to mix audio with visual using Ableton for the ultimate DJ/VJ performance. This workshop includes a demonstration of the Pioneer SVM 1000 mixer as well.
3. Audio Mastering by SAE. SAE Institute will provide an extensive workshop on mastering using Logic Pro 8.
