Yuksek and Brodinski share a thing or two. They both have a knack for banging electro and techno tunes. A no-nonsense, all guns blazing approach to sound. The good friends both received individual kudos from their elder peers such as Soulwax, Pedro Winter, Tiga and Erol Alkan - and they are both part of The Krays.

YUKSEK: You might know him from his acclaimed album Away From The Sea, which included guest appearances by Chromeo, Spank Rock-associate Amanda Blank and the Scottish discopunks of Shit Disco. When Yuksek is not wowing audiences worldwide with his impressive, vintage synth-led one-man-show, he's cooking up remixes for the likes of Gossip, The Prodigy, Kaiser Chiefs, pop phenomenon Lady Gaga and recent Grammy-laureates Phoenix.

BRODINSKI: This young man has been hailed as one of the best beat jugglers around, bursting onto the scene with show stopping DJ sets in his native France. Through his website, 'Brodi' pitched his amazing mix tapes to a worldwide, dedicated and blog addicted following. Or as one fan said: 'his sets are clean but his tracks are dirty'. The single Bad Runner (produced by Yuksek) was loudly applauded under fellow DJs who aim for maximum dance floor destruction.

1. What is your first memory to music?
Brodinski : An amazing party when I was 16, in my hometown in Reims, with Yuksek & Erol Alkan. Always good to remember that.
Yuksek : When I was 5 I felt on my parent's vinyl player (huge wooden one), I still have the scar on my front...

2. What is your favorite piece of equipment you use in the studio or DJing and why?
Brodinski : When I'm DJing, I always use a CDJ because it's already the future, and I can't do without it right now. Big thanks to Pionneer
Yuksek : Memorymoog and Prophet 5 because those are the best keyboards of all times, suitable for any kind of music. Trident studio mixer because everything sounds marvelous trough it.

3. What is your current top 5? (artist/title/label)
Brodinski :
1. Rehab - Pump the Party (Oliver Twizt Rmx) / CDR
2. Brodinski - Arnold Classics (Egyptrixx Rmx) / Grizzly
3. Balkan Beatbox - Move It (Radioclit Rmx) / CDR
4. Ciara - Ride (Ft. Ludacris) / Zomba
5. Bassanovva - Terrordactyl / Grizzly
Yuksek :
1. The Bewitched hands on the top of our heads _ Sahara Dream
2. OhNoOno _ The wave ballet
3. The XX _ VCR _ Matthew Dear remix
4. Yacht _ Summer Song (old track but summer is coming)
5. Yeasayer _ One

4. Sex, Drugs or Rock 'n Roll?
Brodinski : Sleep, Candies & Rap Music.

5. What music outside the electronic spectrum, do you listen to?
Brodinski : Rap music a lot, classical & pop music also. I'm a mainstream kind of guy, big fan of Britney.
Yuksek : Pop, classical and tropical.

6. Do you think (dance) music is able to lie?
Brodinski : For sure, all the time...because every 3 months somebody tries to sell us something 'new' - a New Name, a New Style...but this already existed and everybody knows that.
Yuksek : Dance music is just music for dancing, can't see truth or lies into it.

7. What is the last book you have read and what did you think of it?
Brodinski : The last book I read was 'De Chair et D'ame' from Boris Cyrulnik. I had this in my library since a while so I decide to read it and I loved it!

8. Are all your friends involved in (dance) music?
Brodinski : Not at all, they love music, but they 're practically all students. and they listen to Raggae.
Yuksek : Honestly no one, my musician friends are doing rock or pop (except Bordi), and my other friends don't go to parties.

9. What would you do with a million ping pong balls?
Brodinski : Go to Thailand to sell them to the 'Ping Pong Show' Disco.
Yuksek : Build a Ping Pong Eiffel tower on my roof top.

10. What can we expect of you in the near future?
Brodinski : More music, More Surprises, More Remixes, More Fun.
Yuksek : A new album, less bangers, less remixes, more music and fun.
